3. Non‑accessible content

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons: non‑compliance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA requirements.

3.1 Images and Media

  • Some older images lack meaningful alternative text. We are reviewing all image content and adding descriptive alt text by Q1 2026.
  • Certain older videos do not provide a text transcript or captions. We are updating older programmes to have these by Q1 2026.

3.2 Downloadable Files

  • Certain downloads provided in formats such as Word, PowerPoint or PDF may not be fully accessible. However, many downloads go through a full QA process to ensure they are built as accessible as possible. We are updating older programmes to have these by Q1 2026.

3.3 Navigation and Interactive Features

  • A small number of interactive widgets (e.g., tabs) may not be fully operable via keyboard. Updates to these components will be deployed by the end of 2025.

4. Preparation of this accessibility statement

This statement was published on 28 June 2025.

It is based on:

  • An internal accessibility audit conducted by Cenit College’s development team, which includes a software developer, and an instructional design and technology team. The team use WCAG 2.1 AA standard.
  • Automated testing with WAVE
  • Moodle course testing using Brickfield Accessibility Toolkit
  • Manual testing using keyboard-only navigation and screen readers ‘Windows 11 Narrator’ and ‘NVDA’
  • Verification by Cenit College’s development team
