Skills Bootcamps for East Midlands

Are you based in the East Midlands and ready to start a new career or upskill in your current role? Cenit College is offering fully-funded Skills Bootcamps in the D2N2 (Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire) region — part of the Government’s Lifetime Skills Guarantee. These flexible courses are designed to help adults gain in-demand digital and leadership skills in just 12 to 16 weeks, leading directly to new job opportunities or career progression.

What Are Skills Bootcamps?

Skills Bootcamps are free, flexible courses for adults designed to fast-track you into employment in high-demand sectors. Our East Midlands Bootcamps are co-funded by the Department for Education and delivered in partnership with local employers.

Your Course Options

Choose a pathway that matches your goals:

✅ Project Management Bootcamp → Learn the skills to lead projects across sectors including tech, healthcare, construction, and business. No prior experience needed.

✅ Data Analytics & Power BI Bootcamp → Perfect for those looking to break into the world of data. Learn Power BI, Excel, dashboards, SQL basics, and how to tell stories with data.

Both Bootcamps are led by industry experts and include practical, hands-on projects to build your confidence.

Eligibility

• Adults aged 19+ living in Derbyshire or Nottinghamshire
• British citizen or living in England for 3 years for purposes other than study
• People looking for a career change
• Returners to work or those recently made redundant
• Professionals seeking career progression or self-employed
• Employers looking to upskill their staff (co-funding available)

How It Works

1. Apply online (Takes 2 minutes)
2. Attend a short information session
3. Start your Bootcamp with full tutor and career support
4. Interview with employers or progress within your current company or self employment opportunities where interviews are not mandatory
