By completing the Data Analytics Skills Bootcamp, anyone can become a competent data analyst. All the topics and units are broken down in an easy to learn manner, making the course extremely enjoyable.
Here is an overview of what you will learn in each week of the course:
Week 1: Introduction – Introduction to your chosen programme and the platforms and technology you will be using. You will your Bootcamp team. What is included: 4 hours of digital content. 1 group session with Learning Support & 1 technical support session.
Week 2: Prepare the Data – Get data from different data sources, Profile the data, Clean, transform, and load the data.
Week 3 to 5: Model the Data using PowerBI – Design a data model, Develop a data model, Create measures by using DAX, Optimize model performance.
During these 3 weeks, learners will be introduced to our Employability Skills Module. Which is 1 session per week on Digital Branding, CV and Interview Skills.
Week 6: Employability Skills – Following on from our initial sessions, learners will focus on Social Media, Communication Skills, Effective self-presentation. Introduction to companies activly recruiting. Learners will work with a dedicated Career Coach. 4 hours of online content. I x individual session. 5 group sessions.
Week 7: Visualize the Data, Create reports, Create dashboards, Enrich reports for usability –
From week 7 learners will commence a project, due during week 10. This project will reflect the practical nature of the course & provide evidence of the skills, knowledge, & behaviours attained during the bootcamp.
Week 8: Analyze the Data – Enhance reports to expose insights
Week 9: Analyze the Data – Perform advanced analysis.
Week 10: Deploy and Maintain Deliverables – Manage datasets.
Week 11: Deploy and Maintain Deliverables – Create and manage workspaces.
Week 12: Assessment Preparation – Learners will complete the Cenit College Power BI assessment.

Learners must meet all of the below criteria to take part in the Bootcamp.
